Winner of the inaugural Rod Dalglish Scholarship
We are delighted to announce the results of the inaugral Rod Dalglish Scholarship 2025.
The iMIS User Group AP Board were delighted to receive a range of outstanding, high-calibre applications from across the iMIS community.
The judging panel noted the passion, creativity, and commitment demonstrated by all applicants, making the decision extremely challenging.
Shannon Bayliss, Operations Manager at Midwifery Council of NZ has been crowned the inaugural recipient of the Rod Dalglish Scholarship for their use of iMIS technology, strong advocacy for the platform, and commitment to professional development.
As the winner, Shannon will receive:
- A complimentary two-day registration to the 2025 Discovery Conference in Melbourne (13–14 October 2025)
- Up to AUD 500 travel reimbursement
We’re excited to celebrate Shannon's achievement at the Discovery Conference in October.
As a result of the high number of applications and in keeping with the scholarship’s spirit of supporting iMIS users, the judging panel decided to reward the following runners up.
Runner Up: Kerry Haywood, Systems Officer at Pilates Association Australia
Prize: Complimentary registration to the 2025 Discovery Conference
Second Runner Up (Tied): Hajira Mohamad Musttak, CRM Analyst at Murdoch University & Vidisha Trivedi, Website & CRM Officer at AmCham Australia.
Prize: Complimentary registration to the 2025 Discovery Conference
Third Runner Up (Tied): Jane Lamb, General Manager at Growsafe NZ and Laura Cassie, Customer Systems Administrator at Community and Public Sector Union, Civil Service Association
